Why Pay Per Click Online Marketing?

I get asked the question all the time by different companies about PPC.  The majority of people ask why would a company ever want to do PPC?  The next question I get asked is if it’s better to do PPC or SEO?

What is PPC?

In this particular cost model, the advertisers and publishers have a fixed rate for each click the advertisement gets. It is called as cost per click (CPC) for an advertisement. The flat-rate PPC is simple… You pay for clicks that you receive based on keywords that you bid on.  It’s a little complicated but that’s what I’m here for.

In PPC with a content marketing, the pricing for the click varies for different advertisers. The content on the page plays a role in deciding the CPC. If the page has good value content, then the CPC will be higher when compared to a website that has low value content. The keyword should be well associated with the website content. The advertisers can also negotiate the amount of CPC depending on the long term relationship and various other criteria.

PPC vs SEO

It really depends what you’re going for.  If you are going for a long term strategy and a long term business that isn’t going to change then I would recommend SEO.  SEO is a long term strategy. PPC is short term strategy but can also be a part of your long term strategy.  I personally would do both.  I would love to personally help you know what would be the perfect PPC and SEO that you should do.  Contact me today.
