A Little Holiday PPC

It’s that time of the year when everyone is going crazy out there. Sales are going up and you are loving being a business owner (because of profits, not because of work). More people are buying online then ever before. It’s estimated that holiday spending will be 200x more then it was last year online. 2000x more purchase will be made through mobile phones then last year and overall more people will be purchasing things online. Why else do you think Google is estimated to make 12 Billion profit this quarter. That’s $1 Billion dollars profit a week during the holiday season. Crazy the numbers that Google is doing.

What Can I Do to Take Advantage of This?

Offer something that will encourage your customers to purchase right now. Put up a big banner on the front page of your website that says “Guaranteed Shipping By Christmas”. This will cause an urgency in people and also encourage them to want to purchase more then they would normally because they can get it to their house before Christmas.

Start a PPC campaign. If you are not an expert at PPC, we have a team that is amazing at this and can get you great results. If you need sales, we can deliver them. Through years of service we have learned how to sell products online and everything you need to do with your site to make this work. If you are going to do this yourself, make sure you set up your keywords into tightly themed AdGroups. This will help you to separate everything and go in daily to make sales. It will also help you to see what is and what isn’t working pretty quick.

Offer a deal, everyone loves deals

Brand your business into something that people love. Branding your business will help you business to grow faster than anything else. Typically people hate Groupon and other daily deal sites but it does get them a TON of exposure. I had a customer did it and got 14,000 people to visit his site that day and ended up getting over 200 customers for his local carpet cleaning business. Sure, he didn’t make any money off the carpet cleaning but it paid the bills and kept him busy during the slow times of the year. Anything you can do to brand your business online will help you.

Actually talk to people on the phone when they call in.
