SMX Advanced Recap

Last week Adam an I had the pleasure of attending SMX Advanced in Seattle. It’s that wonderful time of year when the US and Canada come together to discuss the best ways to convert better online. SMX Advanced is all about PPC, SEO, and Social Media Marketing, all of which we do at Maple North. They have experts from around the world that come together for advanced discussions about how to better convert online.

I am an Affiliate Marketing expert that is breaking into the PPC world.  I’m slowly beginning to learn how important it is and learning new tips and tricks to make each campaign convert better.  One of the themes around this conference that I learned is to focus on smaller adgroups.  It’s key to your success.  You’ll not only get higher quality scores, higher click through rates, but your costs will be lower.  When you show Google that you know what you are doing and you’ve got it down to a science they will give you better QS and lower costs.  That will help you get more clicks, more traffic, and get more conversions online.

Overall it was an amazing conference.  Learned a lot of skills and techniques that have helped me to optimize many different clients accounts.  This is helping them to optimize their adwords accounts, get better conversions, and overall make more money with their online business!
