How to Get the Most out of Your Google AdWords Campaigns

Google AdWords operates off of very dynamic algorithms. What does this mean for you? There is no set it and forget way to use the system, you have to continue monitoring and analyzing your ads once up as they may be bring you profit this month and may not for next month. The problem with this is that it isn’t so easy for everybody. One person may be able to successfully use the system comfortably no matter what changes occur while others may not. If you are the latter you may want to get the help of PPC professionals.

If you can’t afford the professionals, here are a couple PPC tips to help you out;

  1. Optimize Your Landing Page – this should not be the same as your home page and it should have relevant content that is rich in keywords while not being keyword stuffed. If your landing page is relevant to your ad then you will see Google lowering your cost per click which presents you with savings galore.
  2. Monitor your campaigns constantly – you can start off with a low CPC and a lot of keywords. I think you should optimally start as low as .10 up to .30 cents. This ensures that you don’t lose too much if you choose the wrong keywords and is a perfect way to test the waters. There are a number of tools that you can use to find keywords and to monitor their effectiveness when using AdWords. You will find free services but the paid services are some of the best. One great choice is KeyWord Analyzer which gives you the results based off of Google‘s search engine. Only constant monitoring will let you know which keywords are working at a particular time since this can change overnight you want to ensure you know when it changes so you can update your campaign as such.
  3. Use Negative Keywords – this may come as a surprise to many but negative keywords can do a lot for your campaign and adding them to your keywords can help you to have them displayed ranking higher than your regular keywords.
  4. Use Google’s traffic estimator – you want to get the best ranking possible and sometimes that means paying a little extra but when you have a highly targeted audience and highly targeted keywords it will be definitely worth the extra cost.
  5. Less is more when it comes to Google AdWords so you don’t need to have a lot of advertisements. Instead you can use one ad and concentrate on making it the best possible. When you are using one ad it is easier to monitor and you can spend all your time making that ad the best instead of trying to keep up with many ads which may be time consuming.

Google AdWords could be the sole thing you need to make the best of your online business. Using this PPC platform can get you the customers you need to grow your business.
